Organize Your Corporate Events Dahlonega GA

By Susan Wagner

All too often corporate mixers wind up being a wild mix-up, and can be an embarrassment for anyone who gets a little too relaxed. Too much beer, too much sun, and too much time spent intoxicated with coworkers can be a combination that creates problems. Rather than heading to a beach in summer, maybe your corporate events Dahlonega GA in the Appalachian mountains is a better fit.

This town boasts some of the most beautiful scenery in North America. Coupled with this are opportunities to attend wine tastings at some of the best vineyards on the East Coast. Rather than swilling the brew at a beach hut, coworkers can share in the ambiance of classical or jazz music, fine wine, and a tasteful assortment of quality hors d'oeuvres.

Do not let the autumn chill fool you. Georgia is a hot place until well into October most years, and as such, there are still water sports to be enjoyed. Some people like to take an inter-tube down the lazy river miles, but watch out because you never know when white water rapids will come to remind you that it is still a sport you are engaged in.

Group rafting trips are also on the menu. This area has river adventures to suit anyone at most any level of skill and daring. Taking the whole crew down some of the rough-water zones is an excellent want to bring everyone together as they face the peril of nature and must count on one-another to get safely to the docking zone.

If anyone wants to take the challenge up yet another notch, skydiving and hang-gliding adventures are also offered right in the same collection of mountains. These adventures might not be for everyone and are recommended to be considered on a voluntary basis only. That being said, nothing challenges the individual quite like jumping out of an airplane, or off the side of a scenic mountain.

We know not everyone wishes to jump out of planes or off of mountains, and there is certainly no shame in avoiding this much excitement. Fortunately, for those not up to such risk, this town has just the thing. You will find that the longest and most scenic balloon rides offered this side of the Hawaiian Islands is what they seek. Fortunately, such balloon rides are exactly what this mountain town can offer, and Autumn is the perfect time for it.

Avid hikers should already be familiar with the climb up to the top of Amicalola Falls. It is not considered a dangerous climb because there are stairs with railings for everyone to use. However, for anyone who is not fit for such a journey, there is also a road that they can take to the top, so everyone gets to enjoy the view together.

There are few speedy hikers at the nearby Springer Trail, however. There are two possible ways up Springer Mountain, one is a difficult hike and the other intermediary. So, for those who are still up for one last adventure, hiking this world-famous route at the doorway to the Appalachian Trail offers the final evening of rough camping in a beautiful mountain wilderness.
