Board arrangement and meals are common. However, despite all these luxurious arrangements, the moot points are always the food, bed, and a bathroom, that which are never absent even if you simplify the space, as can be observed with the capsule hotels in Japan.

Aside from the abovementioned examples, one may also opt for a serviced apartment. They may be availed for either short or long term stay. As apartments, they are fully furnished, and more upscale ones can include amenities like housekeeping, room service, and on site facilities like laundry rooms, fitness centers, et cetera. For its homey furnishings, services, and other impeccable qualities, it is preferred by many personages, such as temporary expats and professionals. It can also be used for the meantime as one is looking for permanent relocation.

Serviced apartments may be likened to mid scale hotels. However, compared to the latter, it proffers more privacy, space, and convenience. The facilities and living areas tend to be more private. The hotel comparison comes in with the drawing of similarities in gym, restaurant, conference areas, and concierge services.

Inns have a more historical than contemporary sense. In these buildings, travellers seek for lodging, food, and refreshments. Stereotypically, they are located in the country or beside a highway.
