Tips For Planning A Memorable Pangasinan Wedding

By Edward Morgan

When couples are about to get married, there are two options they can select. They can either plan for a church marriage or a civil Pangasinan wedding. Whichever the decision they make, their aim is becoming husband and wife at the end of the day. However, the Philippines has several requirements that the couples must meet before the actual ceremony. These requirements must be met in advance or else the ceremony cannot take place.

The first thing that you must apply for is a license to show that you are a free person. This license should be applied as early as possible so that you do not get frustrated. After making the application, you can now pick a date for your espousal ceremony. There are so many factors that you must consider when choosing the date. For instance, you should select a date that you will both be free, and the weather should be favorable.

Setting the budget is the next thing. Include every little detail to the budget, and if it goes overboard, you can eliminate some things. Do not copy the budget of another couple because they may have different likes that may not apply to you. Come up with your plans and create a budget that will accommodate almost everything you want.

Remember that you must apply for the license early enough. This is because the Philippines require this license before your marriage is officiated. The license applicants should not be below 18 years. Consequently, there must be a written approval by parents of applicants below twenty-five years. As mentioned earlier, IDs, CENOMARs and birth certificates must be submitted.

After that, you can proceed to select the place you would love to hold your ceremony. It can be a public park, a municipal hall or even a nature reserve. The next step is selecting the person who will legalize your espousal ceremony. This can be a pastor, mayor, military commander or judge.

At this point, you can start sending out your espousal invitations to witnesses and guests. These may include your immediate family, relatives, close friends, and colleagues. After sending the invitations, start planning on where you will hold the reception of your marriage ceremony. Select a place that will accommodate all the guests.

Once you have completed most of the above plans ensure that the remaining ones will be manageable. For instance, you must come up with vows, purchase rings, and your attire and do all the final touches. Ensure that everything is completed on time. This will save you a lot of frustrations. Ensure that you look for a photographer who will take all the photos on your special day.

Once you have accomplished all the plans above, you can now relax and enjoy your day. The day of the ceremony may be quite challenging, but the program coordinator must ensure that everything runs according to plan. All you need to do is smile and enjoy. Even if things become messy at some point, you must be happy. It is your day.
