They do range from two star to four star status so do expect an above average offering of amenities for you and your companions. Rates do fluctuate according to season and demand, but on average expect to pay as low as USD 56 per night to as high as USD 1423 per night.

You should also already estimated the number of days that you plant on staying, for this will definitely affect your overall spending and such. Special packages do abound in Costa Rica, with some giving free nights stay given special conditions and a lot more other discounts for children and families. It pays to inquire beforehand so you can plan and schedule accordingly.

Season will also affect your bookings when going to visit Manuel Antonio. December to April is usually the driest months and also the peak months as most go to Costa Rica for the beaches. However, it is best to visit during the wetter off season months of April to November when everything is greener and more alive, particularly when it comes to visiting Manuel Antonio reserve.

And most importantly of all keep in mind that you are traveling to a tropical country. Bring only light clothes, preferably made of cotton and also bring plenty of bug spray and sun block.
